Who Can Join?
Membership is open to professionals who practice, conduct research, or teach in a usability-related profession, as well as to fulltime students enrolled in a usability-related field of study at an accredited university.

Fees & Memberships
Both national and local memberships are required by the UPA, so members must apply online for the national group as well as locally for your city’s chapter. The following fees apply:

National Professional Membership (UPA):
· A Professional Membership is available to people practicing or conducting research or teaching in a usability-related profession. Professional members may serve on the UPA Board of Directors and hold officer positions. [$85 per year]

National Student Membership (UPA):
· A Student Membership is available to individuals enrolled on a fulltime basis in a usability-related field of study at an accredited university. [$20 per year]

Other National Fees:
New Professional members are assessed a one-time $25 processing fee.

Local DFW UPA Chapter Fees:
· Professional Membership [$10 per year]
· Student Membership [$5 per year]
